Design For Change Youth Projects

This past 2010-2011 brought our first year working with After School Matter to bring the Design For Change program to various youth. The fall session took place at Harper High School. This past spring session just wrapped up at InnovaTeen Tech Center. We are so proud of our youth and their success in learning and addressing youth violence. The slogans & designs the completed for their buttons, posters, and t-shirts serve to speak to creating peace and change in the community around the issue of violence. Congrats to them all!

We specifically would like to invite all of YOUR children and other kids in your families, of your friends, or that you work with to come have some fun with us. The Osmosis Education Mentoring Initiative� Express YourSelf-Portrait is designed to encourage young people to follow positive career paths in art and design�. The Express YourSelf-Portrait program creates self-esteem by having kids paint a portrait of themselves with the assistance of a professional designer or artist.
