Jonathan Projansky - Advisor & Volunteer
Community and youth advocate, Jonathan Projansky is an individual who is dedicated to
youth involvement, integrated services, and community economic development. He graduated
from the University of Illinois Champaign/Urbana with a B.S. in Leisure Studies. He has
worked to coordinate the efforts of various programs and organizations to more positively
impact the community. In his past work for Mayor Daley’s Back Of The Yards
YouthNet programs and services, he’s helped to improve the quality of life for area
residents through programs like after-school tutoring, free shuttle bus services,
employment placement services, and various other initiatives. His work with Kenwood
Oakland Community Organization has also helped to
mobilize various resources to address social services programs, youth development,
political education, local schools, food assistance, and community development. His
commitment to social and economic empowerment makes him a true activist for the community.
