Fredricka Holloway - Executive Director
Fredricka Holloway has an increasing desire to provide information and
technology to youth that lack the knowledge, skills, and tools to thrive
in a constantly advancing world. Ms. Holloway is an alumnus of the
University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign, graduating with a B.S. degree
in Computer Science/Engineering. She is also an alumnus of INROADS/Chicago
Pre-College and Intern Program. INROADS introduced her to the corporate world
providing supplement education and key resources. She continued on in the
corporate arena working as a programmer and analyst for USG Corporation, Accenture
and in 2003 launched Innovatec Services, a technology and marketing firm.
Fredricka Holloway has a true commitment to community and youth having served as
a board member for the National Society of Black Engineers – Chicago Alumni Extension
(NSBE-CAE) to increase the number of successful black engineers and exposure
to technology to our youth. She has directed, managed and instructed after-school
tutoring programs at various sites within the Chicago Public Schools. Ms. Holloway
served as a Girl Scout Leader and volunteer and still fulfills her passion for
mentoring and positively impacting young girls by creating and instructing the
Young Women’s Club for adolescent girls at the Gary Comer Youth Center, where she
also is a technology partner and instructor. She is a staff/board member and
volunteer for Osmosis Mentoring Initiative, which mentors youth in six disciplines of design.
